Adriana E. Vargas is the bi-lingual (English and Spanish) solo practitioner who founded Agave Law Firm, LLC. She obtained an M.S. in International Relations from Northeastern University, and her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Adriana is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Prior to law school, Adriana worked for over 15 years as a civil litigation and trial paralegal, attending several jury trials with extensive use of expert witnesses. During law school, she interned for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and was an editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Journal of Public Policy and Practice and Cybaris®, an Intellectual Property Law Review. In addition to the normal law school curriculum, Adriana partook in an intensive and specialized program where she earned a Certificate Law and Business with her focus being Sports Law and IP rights of athletes whether U.S. based or foreign. This continues to be a major passion that is prevalent as Adriana's daughter is now an NCAA college athlete in California; Adriana's goal is to ensure student-athletes have proper legal guidance and protection.

Adriana’s legal roots have always led her back to the civil practice realm of law. She continued to expand her civil litigation experience after law school by handling civil matters for various colleagues in an Of Counsel capacity. 

Adriana has handled matters including, but not limited to: car accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, premise liability, wrongful death, dog bites, bed-bug bites, semi-truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicyclist accidents, homeowner's insurance claims (including mold damage), breach of contract, civil theft, destruction of personal property, negligent security, divorce, child support modification, real estate, and foreclosure defense. 

Her role in these matters has consisted of handling all aspects of the case including the drafting of appeals should it be warranted. Adriana's main priority is to ensure that all clients are afforded the opportunity to legal counsel and an equal playing field.
